Not too good.

I got one pair from a local retailer. They are comfortable, but did not have the ankle support I wanted (not a deal breaker for me though). Upon the first shine, the finish flaked off in a couple days. I emailed Danner, and they gave me pointers to fix this problem. Upon taking their advice, one boot would shine and the other would not!!. Danner sent a replacement pair, and this replacement had flaws in the leather, glue all over, and one of the soles was molded on crooked. Danner customer service is not what it used to be. I swapped the boots for some bates at my retailer, and am sending the old ones back to Danner. It took me over a month to get this far with Danner. No more Danners for me...I can't take the risk that I will be down a pair of boots for over a month again.

Maybe I received a defective pair

I purchased my pair almost a year and a half ago. They have held up well and are lightweight. The curve in the structure of the boot did not fit my feet well. If you look at photos of the boots, there is a significant inward curve. Puts a lot of pressure on the outside of your feet. Mine would hurt and I kept wearing them hoping they would loosen or break in. Still not any better.

only boots i'll buy

This is my second pair of kinetics, my first pair will still do the job but they have been through hell and don't look all that presentable. only pair of boots i'll buy from now on.
