Give it the boot

Boots seem to be cheaply made. They are missing one eyelet and another is improperly installed. I decided to keep them in spite of this and have the defects repaired by a shoemaker because the cost of repair is less then the cost to ship them back. To the good they fit well and seem warm.

The Boots I never knew I needed.

I live in LA, were it rain almost never, and I these boots have been well. . . to make a long story short, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!!!!!!! When it rains I would sacrifice a pair of shoes and socks for the day, but no more do i fear puddle, pothole, storm drain,or puddle that looks shallow but is really ankle deep. No longer do I suffer from cold and wet feet, with these boots my feet are bone dry, and warm i would recommend anytime to anyone. My only issue is, if it really an issue, is that they are big. Thats only because i enjoy lighter shoes like Converse all stars, but they are over all great boots.

Excellent everyday work boot.

These are great boots, this is my second pair, I have had my first pair over a year, wear them everyday and they have shown virtually no wear.They are light but tough.If you need a good boot and you do not require a steel or safety toe, then I would highly recommend these boots.

Sweet But..........

I always wanted these boots...When I got them they were great, there comfortable, and they wear in nicely too.But there's one problem, the pull on loops... they fold over on the inside so they rub up against my legs, you can fix it by doing 1 of 3 thing: 1) put duck tape over the inside. 2) cut the inside out very carefuly and sow it back on the outside, or have a profeshional do it for you. 3) cut it completely off...

Exceptional product

I recently purchased 2 pairs of these Chippew Viper Boots , one for my husband and another for myself. We LOVE these guys, they were comfortable and easily broken in after only wearing about 20 minutes, my husbands hunting buddies now tell him to go first on their lease/due to rattlesnakes!! I feel safe out on our farm and around our fishing place. These are tried and true fitting boots so get the size you really are because THEY ARE MADE IN AMERICA and fit correctly! Excellent craftsmanship, and kind of sassy looking for the ladies!

Chippewa Snake Boots

These fit well and were very comfortable right out of the box. I've been wearing them around the house to break them in, and they're lightweight and have a very comfortable and cushy insole. Full length socks will be necessary to keep the tops from rubbing your legs unless you cinch them in more tightly than I care to do. If you cinch them in, they don't rub. No more having to constantly watch the ground instead of the wonderful scenery out here in the desert! Love these boots!

Great Micro Spikes

I used these to climb a 4000 ft peak, the entire trail was covered in snow. I managed to get up and down all 8.2miles of the trail with out much struggle. I enjoyed watching others strain as they got up the mountain with no spikes on. Those that didn't have them were jealous. Very good product, they worked great.

Winter in Ohio can be trying to forecast. I got these a day before a winter storm hit our area,so I hit the trails for a 5 mile hike,and they worked well. It's like 4-wheel drive for your feet!!!
