Not Waterproof According to Irish Setter

Be Forewarned: Neither the product info on this page from Irish Setter nor the Irish Setter website makes ANY mention of this boot being waterproof. If you want the waterproof version, looks like you'll need to get the 3875 Soft Paw Waterproof Boot.Irish Setter Men's 3875 Soft Paw Lace-up Boot

Light weight and tough

I have owned two pairs of Soft Paws. I live in rural Oregon and these boots take a beating. They are very light weight and comfortable. You might think that they are not durable because they are so light. That is not case. These boots are very rugged and long lasting. I own a dozen pair of boots including Danners and I prefer the Soft Paws to all of them.

My husband works construction here in Florda, hot weather, rain etc... and he loves these shoes. You can't find a place to buy them around here so we buy them on-line.With some shoes he has to wear arch supports, but not with these shoes, they never make his knees/back ache, in his words they are the best work shoes ! Light, durable, structured and have a nice look when he meets with a new customer.
