Handsewn FlexLock construction lends athletic shoe-inspired flexibility without compromising a stable stance or stride. The Irish Setter 819 Havoc 10 Inch 400g GTX boot is finished with an UltraFlex Big Game sole that has a cushioning polyurethane midsole, broad platform and deep lugs to enhance stability and grip on rocky terrain.

Great Boot

Bought these boots and used them for a nine day hunt/camp in the Rockies. They were extremely comfortable & durable. While warm, they breathe fairly well and are very usable in warm temps as well. These are a great boot - I'd purchase them again.

I bought these boots at the beginning of this year's hunting season.I have used these boots on multiple hunts and with wools socks they kept my feet warm down to the low 30's.It did not get any colder on any trips this year so I do not have any experience with sub-freezing temperatures.I walked through water that was a few inches deep and did not experience any problems.We had to hike up the side of a mountain to get to one hunting spot and the tread on these boots gave me excellent grip and they supported my ankles very well.I was very satisfied with this purchase and I would buy these boots again.

Wrong boots for my husband.

Ordered the havoc 819 and had them shipped to Afghanistan where I'm in the mountains and wanted an insulated and water proof boot. Shipping was quick the box arrived in 7 days but unfortunately they sent me the havoc 801's which are uninsulated. The side of the original Irish Setter box even said havoc 801 on it with a sticker off to the side someone had to attach that read havoc 819. Obviously someone messed up. Now Amazon wants me to return them. So I have to track down a printer for the return label and wait another week or so for the correct pair to arrive.
