Good AF Combat Boot Option

I bought these as a higher performance option from the issue AF Combat boot for the new uniform. They are definitly a giant leap forward in fit, and comfort. I'm on my feet most of the day and these have been comfortable and functional.

Most uncomfortable boot I've tried

Although the product arrived quickly (even to an APO address) and seemed like decent qaulity, it was hands down the most uncomfortable boot I've tried in 13 years of active duty service. They did not breathe so my feet were hot and damp, and were also heavy compared to my previous pair of Tactical Reseach TR606 boots. There is a "cup" around the heel which rubbed my ankles. These boots do not have the side zipper either. It is important for me to add that I have very narrow feet and find it difficult to find a comfortable boot. I returned it, and the company was understanding and supportive.

These boots are fantastic. The downside is that the first couple of weeks are so they are going to rub your heel raw either in the inside or the very back. Everyone I know who has these has the same complaint. Push through it because after that you will love them. Totally worth the initial discomfort, unless your some kind of pansy lol
