Very Pleased !

Shoes are true to size. Very comfortable right out of the box. Amazingly light for the type of shoe. More comfortable then most dress and casual shoes I own. Color from web page very true to actual. Already have been caught in a rain storm and tootsies were as dry as a bone. Very happy with the purchase and am looking to buy another pair of Irish Setters.

I looked long and hard for this style of shoe. It used to be fairly common place but no longer. I am so tired of canvas shoes or trendy walking shoes. I wantd a good old fashioned leather shoe that was sturdy and good for long walks in the country but stylish enough to wear on dressier occasions. These shoes are a beautiful throwback to an earlier era. I feel like a country gentleman in them. Waterproof too. By all accounts they will last for years although I've only had mine a matter of days. The fit is perfectly true to size. They are stiff and will take a few days or weeks to break in but I've no doubt they will be very comfortable, long lasting shoes after that. They have an wonderfully solid feel to them but are also surprisingly light for this style of shoe.

These shoes were just as described, with the added gore-tex waterproof feature, just superb, are comfortable and I look forward to happy walking in them. My previous Irish Setter shoes with similar features have lasted around 20 years, have been re-treaded and are still servicable.Highly recommended.
