Great item for safe winter walks on ice

Our development is always one of the last to thaw out after a winter storm and we still need to walk the dog twice daily, regardless of the weather. Rubber boots do not offer much in the way of traction on ice but these shoe/boot studs are great. They are easy to put on and offer good traction on icy patches. Some kinds of shoe cleats are hard to find in large sizes for my big feet but these fit my boots perfectly. Inexpensive, and I've bought a set for every member of the family. The ladies can carry them in a bag in their purse. Just remember to take them off before you come inside on wood or tile floors.
