Best boots for hard working folks in warm climes

It was a bother trying to find farm boots that weren't designed for Minnesota winters. I needed something for use in Puerto Rico, so insulated to the nines was NOT desirable. These boots fit the bill, were affordable, and are holding up (so far!) to the daily grind of a dozen-cow smallholding.More important to the decision process was the availability of a woman's size 5. This is one of three places I could get close to such a thing and the only place that actually had them.Steel (or similarly reinforced) toe would be nice in this size.

These boots suck

We got these boots Oct 12, 2011 for our 11 year old boy. He uses them for farm chores. As I write this review on January 1, 2012, less than 3 months into owning them, one boot seam at the achilles heel section has already torn. We are never buying muck boots again, and will look forward to contacting Visa to get our money back on this purchase.
