I use these for station duty while working as a fire fighter. I have only had them a few months now and so far no complaints. These are very popular in the department I work for.

Previous pair lasted me 3 years and the only things that wore out on them were the soles. They may be uncomfortable initially but they felt broken in and comfortable after less than a week of use. I work for a stupid busy 911 Fire/EMS service.
