GORE-TEX® lining is 100% waterproof, but still allows sweat to escape, keeping your boots dry, inside and out. Full-grain, waterproof leather upper is durable and reinforced with double-needle stitching, extending the life of your boot. Fully contoured, compression-molded EVA midsole cushions your foot, without adding excess weight. Textured, high-abrasion rubber toe rand protects your foot from hazards in rough terrain. Aggressive traction outsole, composed of high-abrasion rubber, is engineered to grip, while shedding mud and debris. Thermoplastic shank provides enhanced support through the midsole arch without adding the weight of steel. Molded OrthoLite® footbed is designed with a memory foam top and high rebound foam bottom, for a customized, comfort fit. ETC® Anti-Friction Lining prevents rubbing on the foot, as well as wicking moisture to keep you dry and comfortable. Speed lacing system with metal brush guards and UA branded shanks, for easy on/off without sacrificing a secure fit. Soft, full-grain leather collar and tongue lining provide increased durability. Great boot. A bit noisy until broken in

I bought these boots because of the look and Under armours reputation. When I tried the boots on they immediately felt great. I did notice that they make a squeaking noise right out of the box though. The upper part of the inside is lined with a shiny leather and the tongue of the boot rubs against it in and out as you walk. The sound resembles when you walk on smooth tile with wet rubber shoes. They do quiet down the more they are used. Bottom line they are very comfortable and very nice looking plus the added protection of Gortex 100% waterproofing. I would definitely recommend these to any hunter or hiker.

Other than needing a little time for break in as any good boot requires I can't find a single flaw with UA boots and I assure you I reallyput boots to the test. I rate these at the top of the list for work boots if you don't need steel toe safety boots.shipping was a little slow butI think super storm sandy had a little to do with that.

First, the boots showed up two days earlier than expected.Second, I was buying these boots for a hunting trip in the Arizona high desert. The terrain is rocky, mountainous, and rugged.These boots performed beautifully!!! I brought my old boots as a backup in case these weren't up to the task, but they stayed in the truck all weekend.I'm going to buy a pair for my dad for fathers day.
