They were difficult to tighten and as a result rubbed on my calf's. After a few hours of walking I was ready to chuck them.I will try a thinner sock next time out.The kept my feet warm and they are pretty light.My leg is still chaffed.They are getting better so I rasied them one star.

Hunted in Wyoming last fall/late winter (dec. 15th 2012). Hunted 4 days straight and no cold feet & dry. 1 to 2 ft. of snow on the ground. Better than my $350.00 boots !

Got these for a gift for the brutal and harsh U.P. winters. He is very very happy with them...keep his feet toasty and dry and holding up to tough terrain.
