very comfortable, but buy your size that you where in a dress shoe!

I'm angry with my boots. I wear a size 13M in dress shoes from Allen Edmunds.I needed new upland hunting boots and tried 13EE, 14D and 14EE in the Irish Setter Wingshooter boots. I had all three boots at my home at the same time and my foot hurt so bad in the 13EE, I couldn't wait to get the boot off. The 14D box was squeezing my foot so I tried the 14EE. I was wearing a silk sock liner and a medium weight wool sock from Cabela's. The 14D was snug, but didn't hurt. Wa la! I had my fit. I shipped the other boots back.I tested my boots around the block a few times before leaving on the hunt.Fast forward a few miles of hunting and I am in shock of how the boot stretched out. It was so loose my foot moved, forward and aft as well as side to side.I now have these boots for sale on Craig's List.Very disappointing. Buy what hurts.

Great Hunting Boots

I got these boots promptly after returning a pair in size 13 EE. This pair in 13D is just perfect. The return process was easy and the shipping was more than prompt. Thank you. These boots are well made and comfortable right out of the box. I have not tested them for waterproofness, but I'll bet they will pass the test. I would definitely recommend these boots for the price.

Tried 3 pair. No consistency in construction, size or leather thickness. I couldn't figure out why the left boot on one pair was very tight and the right boot fit perfectly. That is until I measured the side panels. The left front panel on the left boot was cut over 1/4" shorter than that on the right, greatly reducing the volume of the boot. Could be a nice boot, perhaps if they were not thrown together in china. Too bad, I have another pair of Irish Setter Chukkas (U.S. manufacture) that are outstanding. These are poor quality construction. I'm buying another pair of DANNERS. U.S. made, great durability, great quality control.
