J.B. Icelandic Artic Trail -40 Below Winter Sock (2 Pairs) (X-Large (13- 16 Shoe) /2 PRS Pack, Black)

Product Description

The -40 Below Artic Trail is one of the warmest socks we make and contains an astonishing 85% wool! THIS IS A STEAL WHEN COMPARED WITH WIGAM -40 BELOW SOCK @ $10 A PAIR AND ONLY 50% WOOL. It was designed for people who require a sock that can keep their feet dry and warm in the most extreme conditions. We recommend wearing a liner sock to help wick away moisture because it will keep your feet smelling fresher, warmer and blister free! If you are unsure about what sock to buy we would recommend the -30 below as they are much softer/comfortable because they are made from Merino Wool. However, that said the -40 and -50 below socks will keep you warmer but were really designed as a rugged sock to be worn outside in boots. We are so confident that you will like our socks all of them come with our No Risk Guarantee, best of all they are made here in North America! Check out our newly developed Thermal Hiker II socks! Similar to the -30 below socks they are perfect for cold weather activities and only $10 a pair!

5Warmest Wool Socks I Have Ever Owned!
By Henry Guinn
Though I now live in Los Angeles, I lived for many years in Minnesota so I know how important it can be to keep your feet warm. For several years now I have had a problem with cold feet due to a condition known as peripheral neuropathy. I have purchased many different types of socks to help my feet keep warm. These are the best I have found. Though not as soft as merino wool these are definitely warmer and more durable. They are well made and will last a long time. I would and will purchase them again and recommend them to my friends.

5Very thick and warm.
By Sue
Got these socks for my son to wear down with our horses on cold days and nights. They really help keep his feet warm when mine are freezing. I would get some for myself, but they're to thick to fit with my boots.

5Foot Heaven!
By E. A. McNeal
I ordered these socks so that I can ride my bicycle in Alaska during the winter. The minute I tried them on I fell in love, and now I wear them around the house as well as when I'm going outside. They are not scratchy at all - very comfortable, and keep my feet very warm.
