Disappointed

The damn things are made in China. I found them on the Chippewa website, and was under the impression they were Made In U.S.A. Since there are no local retailers I clicked "find an online retailer". I ordered them without reading the words, bold as the Beijing skyline, ORIGEN: China.I still haven't worn them; I don't know if I'll throw more money at them to send them back. They're probably good boots, but it's the idea that Chippewa presents themselves as a classic American bootmaker, and then they diddle me in the arse.

big for a 12

I wear a 12 in every shoe and boot I own, but the 12 in this boot was too big. Go with 11.5 if you wear a 12. Other than that it is a good quality boot.
