EXTREME ALPACA SOCKS
By COOKSALOT
I received these yesterday and took them out of the package. Looked at them and said what were they thinking with the sizing information. I wear a woman's 10 1/2 to 11 shoe or boot and there is no way these will ever fit. My feet are extremely narrow and these socks are ridiculously small for my feet. A waste of a lot of money when I can't wear them. They are also really short for boot socks. I probably won't return because I already paid for shipping once and do not want to get stuck paying for it again. I should have known better to only buy if something comes from Amazon and not an outside seller. You get stuck with it because of the shipping return costs. The feel is not that soft either, very disappointed. I wanted to splurge on myself for a change, I should have known better.

The most bang for your buck
By Luke Martinez
If going for a pair of alpaca socks for the first time, your best bet is to go for the over-the-calf cut, as seen here. They offer the most warmth and generously cover the leg (which you don't see too many socks do these days). I own three of these and they are easily the most comfortable socks I own, only rivaled by my Ralph Lauren cashmere socks. I sure would like to see the makers offer long Johns made of the same fabric here. I'd snatch those up in a hurry!

Alpaca socks
By Ronniemac
I have been suffering with cold feet for years. I have tried several types of wool socks and these are by far the warmest. They are soft and they don't itch either. A very comfortable product!!!
