Surprisingly comfortable boot, easy break-in, waterproof

I have owned these boot for about 6 months and have to say they are very confortable right out of the box. These are the boots I reach for whenever I go out. I like the way they look with their the plain toe and classic sole. The fit is true to size I wear size 12d these fit great. They are very durable the sole shows almost no wear after six months and the insole is one of the most comfortable I have encountered. Now the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5: one they are heavy I haven't weighed them but they are heavy, two they slip when wet not a lot of grip, and three I got a fair amount of heel slip when they were new (this my be because they are missing a third eyelet). Would I buy them again if I worked building constuction or just needed a pair of good quality reasonably priced boots or if I was a "hipster" and wanted some cool looking boots with the classic white/cream soles by all means these are for you. For me I bought them for hunting and I'll wear them till they wear out, which maybe a long time. My next purchase will be the Wingshooter model 820 with the black rubber sole with a little more traction. Although I'm sure that will be some years from now. After six months these boots don't look like they are going to wear out at all. One last word abouth the "Ultradry" first it works really keeps my feet dry, second my feet don't get hot and sweaty like they do in a Gortex boot and the Ultradry doesn't make the boot stiff or uncomfortable to wear. Over all I think a 4 star rating is about right for these boots. In the end I wasn't disappointed with my purchase, great value for the money for a good durable pair of boots.
