Decent but not great...

These boots are ok. They are not very comfortable at first, but once broken in are pretty comfortable. They are waterproof, and have good traction. After only about 9 months of moderate use, the rubber on the front has began to separate from the leather. Also inside, the cloth at the heel has worn through. Not as durable as I had hoped, but not bad.

China or Bangladesh made?

i got two pair of these boots and i like them a lot. i have large (14R) flat feet and these provide the support i need. they required no break in. the only thing is one pair was made in china, one was made in bangladesh. the china pair is better made, fits better, stays laced better, and the tongue sits lower in the boot, making it easier to get on and off. the bangladesh pair has had a little chunk of the toe rubber fall off after only a month. i walk about 3-4 miles a day.i wear them on alternate days, so this difference is noticeable. dont know if you can specify country of origin, but try to get the chinese made ones.

Awesome!

I have worn these boots nearly every day for over a year and they are still kicking. The boots are in need of some repair on the inside of the boot and replaced in the insoles. they polish up great looks almost new on the outside every time. A little heavy at first but they really strengthen up your legs over time. that you 5.11 for another great product
