disappointed

Been a fan of Magnum boots for many years and is the only brand uniform boots I will wear. This model, however, I was highly disappointed with. I received these boots as a gift and they weren't too bad for about a month. After that, for whatever reason, I found my feet sweat incredibly bad in them. Being a zipper boot, you couldn't get the tight fit that I like in a boot and this caused a bit of rubbing. The combination of the sweat and the rubbing really tore up my feet, in particular, the bottom of my feet. The soles and construction of the boot held up well and I didn't have any problems with the zipper as I had seen reported on other sites. The construction of the boot is my reason for two stars instead of one. The comfort of these boots really disappointed me and is my reasoning for such a low rating.

Amazingly durable

As a man who walks an average of four miles per day on concrete, I often tear shoes apart. Anything I buy from Walmart or Target ends up shredded and uncomfortable within a few months and if I'm lucky, the tread at the bottom of my shoes will last a year. Usually I buy a new pair every winter to stay safe in thick snows.My last pair of stealth force shoes lasted two years, tread and all, still tremendously comfortable after so many long walks. After I wore them for a week in the desert however, I found the zippers clogged with tiny particles of dust. I should have cleaned them but I forced them to zip instead, breaking the zippers. I would recommend these boots to anyone who spends a good deal of time on their feet. Just be careful with the zippers.

I love these boots, they're comfortable, easy on the foot, and a joy to wear. Great in the snow, and they keep your feet warm, and they're not pricey, will buy another pair when these wear out.
