Interior fabric quality suspect

I was loving these boots until a couple of weeks ago.I have had them less than a year,bought them for the 2011 Deer season as our land is quite damp.I now have a very annoying fabric tear (exposing the underlying support structures) in the left boot heel area which has reached a point where the boots are uncomfortable and pretty much unwearable.This sucks for a boot of this price.The tear in fact started to manifest itself just a few weeks into ownership so I was extra extra careful about slipping my foot inside.Eventually though the tear reached a point whereby I had to hold the fabric in place with duct tape so I could slide my foot in without doing more damage every time I put 'em on.I have looked at trying to sow/repair the tear but it is in a very awkward spot and I had no luck.I would be very wary about buying a new UA boot in the future.I have read other reviews concerning the build quality of UA boots.I also have a pair of Muck Boots for hunting which are bulkier but so far have had no such quality issues.These were very comfy boots to wear afield but didn't last long enough to justify the price.Pretty disappointed.[EDIT-UPDATE]A friend,who is very handy with needle n thread, has repaired my boot.I hope to get another season out of 'em at least.My concerns regarding the interior build quality remain however.Unlike the sentiments in Huxley's "Brave New World ", spending is not better than mending.

I love these boots. My first pair developed a pin hole in the sole, no water got in but you could hear squish noise when walking, I called UA and they sent me a new pair and a shipping label to return the old ones.. I love these things. I work cattle in them mostly and have to run and juke around a lot and these boots are awesome for it. They are more light weight than Muck boots and much more comfortable. WELL worth the money! Plus they are just SUPER FLY looking. If you wanna be cool: buy these boots. I think UA should contact me film us working cows in them at the feed lot, nothing is rougher on a pair of boots in my opinion!
