Sole Separation on well-cared for boots........

I have purchased these for some years, they are good for my back with the support they afford. I have had problems with the soles beginning to separate when the sole is still as good as new and the upper leather is still all in good condition (NOT ABUSED IN ANY WAY)! I returned them several times and the store is getting sick of seeing me coming. I have a Peet Boot Drier which I set the boots onto and it allows a small amount of heat to rise into the toe of the boot and flow out of the boot (less than a small light bulb worth of heat flow). Since my feet perspire a lot, I use the drier so I am putting on dry boots when I go to wear them. I don't recall having this problem when the boots were made in this country, however I began having the problem after they began making them in China! I pay about $185. for my boots, purchased locally! I don't mind spending that money when the product performs as it should and does not fail! I get quite annoyed when the soles begin separating when the boot itself and the sole are still almost like NEW!

Boots made his day

My son wanted these boots very much. I got the incorrect size and forgot the steel toe but no worries exchanges with Amazon has been so simple. The new boots arrived timely and our return postage was paid and is processing with Amazon now. They gave us a gift card credit until our return arrived back at Amazon so it didnt delay his new correct boots. He went off to Tech School very happy after Holiday break.
