Chinese Chippewa's should be called Chinawa's

I wear a true size 9EE. I have other boots from American manufacturers that are size 9EE. I ordered these boots from Chippewa thinking they were made in the USA and were a true size 9EE. They were not made in the USA and they are not a true size 9EE.There are some Chippewa boots made in the USA and they should remain Chippewa's, but those made in China should be called Chinawa's. That way, the person ordering them will know that they are not made in the USA and if they still want them, to order them 1 1/2 sizes larger.

I'm very satisfied with these boots. Not only are they well made but they are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. It's hard for me to find boots that feel good but these were great right out of the box. A little stiff at first but one day on the job solved that issue. I won't hesitate to buy these American made boots again.

Okay they are pricey and I did find a little hard to get in the right size and right model. I'm not sure why Chippewa has so many near identical model of boots. Take your time, return the boot that doesn't fit perfect may be even wait for the right size, width and model to become available. You won't be disappointed.
