Great Boots

This is the third pair of Irish setter trailblazer boots I have bought. They are the lightest, most comfortable boots I have ever owned and they have held up well for daily use in the construction trade.

Great boots, Bad laces

This is the first pair of Irish Setters that I have ever had. The boots are great they keep my feet dry and they are pretty comfortable. The outsole on this boot is way more aggressive than you can tell by looking at the pictures VERY deep lugs that get amazing traction. The only problem that I have had with these boots is the factory laces. My laces probably lasted 3 weeks MAYBE a month before they broke. The reason for the laces breaking so fast is the two clip eyelets on the top of the boot that you use when your putting them on have sharp edges and if you put them on and sinch them down pretty tight like I do they will slowly cut the laces. When mine broke I put a set of leather laces in the boots and have not had anymore problems with them. Besides the lace problem these boots are awesome. One other thing, these boots fit kinda tight, my pair is the 878 series, I wear a 10.5D in all my other boots and I had to get 10.5EE in these and they are still kinda tight even with regular socks.

I found these boots at amazon after seeing them in a sporting goods store. needless to say I purchased them through amazon for way less. they fit true to size and have lasted for over a year. the bottoms are starting to wear out but the rest of the shoe held up really well.
