1Nice liners - crappy construction
By D. Fahringer
Before you buy a pair of these boots I'd double check the rivets that hold the eyelets to the boot. First time out broke off one of the rivets while lacing up the boot . .second time another one . .third time lost 2 more. Luckily I've got a pop rivet gun laying around and could rivet them back on . ..but for a pair of pac boots that cost this much money I'd expect them to be better constructed. From what I can see they've just been made using the absolute cheapest possible hardware you could find. I checked 3 other pairs at the local store and they had the same problem.Thinsulate liners are very nice!! (too bad the rest of the boot sucks)

1Disappointed
By Handy J
I came here looking to get a second pair of these boots. Have had the first pair for ten plus years and they have been great. When I found out that there are quality problems I was to say the least disappointed. The round leather circle on the side of the boot at the bottom of the circle were it says the year on my old pair it says made in the USA. Also the liner on the inside of the boot says made in the USA. Guess I will have to start looking for a different boot, to bad too they had a customer for life until they shiped there product overseas and now they are turning out to have quality problems.

1Now Made in China with Low Quality Materials
By mcl79
2 years ago I bought a pair of Ice Kings based on the fact that a friend of mine had a pair of them purchased in 1990 that were still in perfect condition after much use and abuse. I received them and immediatley noticed a lower grade leather and the quality of the workmanship was clearly sub par to the pair my friend had. The seams were stitched very sloppy. Ok, I can live with these issues because they keep my feet warm and dry. I used them for a season of ice fishing and was fairly happy with the performance of the boot.I put them away for storage in a cool dry basement for the summer. The first time I wore them the next year both boots began to crack throughout the rubber areas near the toes. Well now I just could not live with that. Sorry Lacrosse either get your sweatshops to make the product the same quality as they previously were with quality materials. Or even better make them here in the US and employ an American and ensure your quality locally. I would personally be willing to pay $200 for these boots if they were made properly.Until then I boycott Lacrosse !!!Completely disatisfied
