Lightweight and high CDI factor but...

They don't last. Three of us bought them but myself and one of the other guys have rips on the inside where the 'toecap' meets the side leather that's going to do nothing but continually grow over time. I'm considering gorilla-glue but that swells and will look like crap.We both loved them while they lasted but for owning them less than eight months I'm a bit disappointed. They weigh about as much as a watch which is why we loved them. Good looks don't hurt either but durability has got to be higher than this. I'm not willing to spend 100 bucks every 6-8 months for boots when I can get another brand that lasts longer.Bottom line: If you're just buying boots to look pretty and not actually work in them, these are great. If you're going to work in them under varying conditions, you may want to pass on these.

Purchased these boots almost about 2 months ago. They are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I ran in the boots for about 2 miles and they felt good and comfortable. Not waterproof, but i purchased these boots for breathability and comfort. If they last a year ill by another pair. Well worth the purchase.update 3-3-12 they didnt last as long as expected. Agree with another review here there is a plastic covering on the tow and on the inside this piece begins to seperate form the other materials leaving a hole on the inside of shoe. I will order again if they change the design.I expected higher quality from UA and I know of at least one other person at my place of work having the same problems. ---law enforcement--

Running Boots

Ive only recently received these boots so this review is based on the limited time I've had them only and not how they hold up over time. However with that said all I can say is so far this is a fantastic boot! I have near 20 years in the infantry and think I have a little practical experience with wearing boots and I think I've just found a new favorite (exempting one meant for extreme cold weather conditions). This is a very light and comfortable boot that so far seems to be that perfect mix between sneaker and hiking/combat boot. I think this will be perfect for say running rough terrain and obstacle courses where you need the ability to run but also the support a boot would give your feet and ankles in rough terrain. The mesh making up the sides of the boot feel great for letting your feet breath and also not water logging like a wet leather boot would. Very comfortable boot and lighter then it appears even to one experienced with how heavy boots are. I'll revise my rating in the future if my opinion changes or they fall apart in a month but so far its been an excellent find. Price is not a factor to me when looking for the best boot available but to throw it out there these are probably one of the least expensive pairs of boots that I can ever remember buying. Im definitely gonna have to keep an eye out for the Under Armour product line in the future. I think Magnum may have just lost a long time customer.
