Comfortable & Functionable

The description says these boots come directly from the factory and will take at least 2-4 weeks but I received mine in less than one week. I like the looks of these boots with the different shades or tones of tan/brown and gold. The large picture on the Amazon site shows the wrong boot. The picture for the Laredo Men's Knoxville 62023 Cowboy Boot is really this boot. I had looked this boot up on several other sites before I bought it at Amazon so I knew which one was coming in the mail. These boots took about an hour to break in to my foot and feel really comfortable. I have large calves so a 13" shaft is usually a problem by being too tight. The top of the shaft on this boot is cut with a deep V, front and back, so even large legs will fit. This boot has a round toe, not a "R" toe (which is a more elongated round toe). The spur ridge on the heel protrudes a little more than I like but if you wear spurs this is a big plus. One thing I like about Laredo boots, besides the price, is the fact that they are true to size (all size 10's are the same size). If you have ever been boot shopping and tried on several different boot styles from the same company then you know they don't all fit the same even though they are the same size. This doesn't seem to be a problem with Laredo. In fact they are the only boot maker I'll buy from online because I know they'll fit. Overall I'm really pleased with this pair of boots. Like the description says, "they're flashy enough to wear out on the town & tough enough to wear on the job".
